Edie Goldberg, Ph.D. is the Founder & President of E.L. Goldberg & Associates in Menlo Park, California. She is a nationally recognized expert in talent management and the future of work. Her practice is focused on HR strategy and designing HR processes and programs to attract, engage, develop and retain employees.

Prior to starting her own firm over 20 years ago, Dr. Goldberg was a Global Thought Leader in the Human Capital Practice at Towers Perrin and was a business unit manager for a boutique management consulting firm. She has published and presented at numerous conferences on the future of work, internal talent mobility, performance management, building management capability, career management, and succession planning.

Dr. Goldberg earned her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Albany, SUNY; and her B.A and M.S. in Psychology from San Diego State University. She is the Chair of the SHRM Foundation Board of Directors, the Past Chairperson of HR People + Strategy (HRPS), past President for the California HR Strategy Forum, and is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She serves on the Advisory Board for several HR technology companies and she is the recipient of the HRPS Lifetime Achievement award to honor the impact she has made to her profession.
